Badger hunting in the Beroun region can be utilized by 1 to 3 hunters at a time from September to the end of October, when badger activity is at its highest and the success rate of the hunt is 90 to 100%.
Badgers can be hunted near their burrows or in fields where they emerge every evening. Alternatively, badgers can be caught at feeding sites for wild boars, where they come for corn.
The hunt usually takes place within 50 – 100 meters. Generally, one evening is sufficient for badger hunting, but it is always better to plan for at least two hunting days.
In addition to the trophy, hunters also receive meat, which can be suitably prepared culinarily and the fat can be used for medicinal purposes.
Accommodation is arranged in nearby guesthouses in Beroun and the surrounding area.
The hunt can be combined with nutria hunting upon agreement, or night hunting for wild boars can be utilized in case of a successful badger hunt.
