Hunting red stag during the rut in Šumava mountains in Czechia in the hunting ground Přízeř between the small towns of Rožmberk nad Vltavou and Vyšší Brod guarantees every hunter an extraordinary hunting experience throughout their stay.
Especially during the rut, stags can be heard from the deep Šumava valleys, showcasing their dominance.
The hunt takes place in the form of stalking and high seat hunting. The area is home to stags that reach medal-worthy sizes.
The hunting ground Přízeř is one of the largest hunting grounds in the Czech Republic, covering over 3,500 hectares. This can be utilized during the hunt when selecting suitable locations for hunting game.
Accommodation is arranged in the private guesthouse U Fořta, owned by the gamekeeper, ensuring that every hunter is very well taken care of.
In the hunting ground Přízeř, stags are most commonly hunted in the range of 150 to 170 CIC, but strong stags with medal values (186 CIC – bronze, 197 CIC – silver) can also be harvested (see photo gallery).
Ideal hunting time: 20.9.-20.10.
