For mouflon hunting in the Hájek game preserve, hilly terrain is typical, with views of the Ore Mountains on one side and the surrounding Doupovské Mountains on the other. Deep ravines in the woods are not a simple terrain element, but they make the field very varied and detailed. The fenced area of the field is 418 hectares.
The domain is highly fragmented thanks to meadows, draws, terrain waves and a large forest.
For that reason, you need 2-4 days to hunt, as the game is shy. Hunting is done in the morning and evening, when the game is most active. It is possible to fish from pulpits or by drifting.
To hunt mouflon, hunters can also hunt fallow deer or wild boar. However, wild boars are separated from fallow deer and mouflon in their own 60-hectare fenced area.
Hunters can be accommodated directly in the game lodge, which offers all equipment for hunters, including a kitchen with a common room with a fireplace.
