Hunting ground Heřmanov

The Heřmanov hunting ground is located in the Pilsen region. The forest hunting ground with associated meadows and fields creates suitable conditions for the life of sika deer, mouflon, red deer, wild boar and roe deer.

The hunting ground is located in the Tepelská vrchovina (highland), which means that the entire hunting ground is full of rugged formations such as steep hills, valleys, viewpoints, etc. This complex terrain with an elevation of several hundred meters represents a natural refuge for game from adverse weather, but above all it offers shelter and peace from visitors, who mostly stay on marked trails.

Hunters usually take home strong trophies of sika deer from this location, which commonly reach medal values ranging from bronze to gold. Red deer also represent very interesting trophies here.

Wild boars are present in large numbers, which hunters will appreciate during driven hunts with several dozen animals.

About the chase

Area: 820
Area: Highlands
Species: Forest

The Heřmanov hunting ground covers an area of 820 hectares, of which approximately 500 hectares are forests, and the rest are fields with meadows that surround the hunting ground. The hunting ground gradually adjoins other forest complexes, so the game has a large living space here.

The altitude of the Tepelská pahorkatina (highland) ranges from 600 to 720 meters, with large local elevations. In the winter months, there is often snow cover, making hunting even more attractive.

The Telecí stream flows through the Heřmanov hunting ground in its northern part. In the southern part, the pond is fed by the Luh stream.

The forests are predominantly coniferous, with spruce being the main species.
