This Hunting area falls within the Hohe Tauern mountain range, which is part of the Eastern Alps, specifically the Grossglockner group. These individual mountain peaks easily exceed an altitude of over 3,000 m above sea level.
However, the exact hunting location is situated somewhat lower near the village of Kals, where the altitude is just over 2,000 m above sea level.
