Hunting ground Vytůň

Vytůň hunting is a simple forest hunting area, situated near Pilsen with good transport accessibility.

This hunting area is part of a forest complex with a size of over 2,000 hectares. This is one of the larger forest complexes in the countryside.

Hunting Vytůň is adjacent to meadows and fields along its entire border, which is always an advantage for hunters. During most of the year, the game is hidden in the forest and comes out for food. Thanks to this, intensive game walks can be used to get to know the game and subsequent hunting.

Pilsen is generally the home of Japanese sika. It’s no different here either. A large population of Japanese sika deer, red deer, fallow deer and wild boar live in the forest.

A red deer passes by here. A very attractive game animal here is the mouflon, which achieves medal trophies.

About the chase

Area: 975
Area: Lowland
Species: Forest

Hunting area Vytůň hosts all representatives of our hoofed animals, except chamois. The terrain is mostly flat, which gradually slopes.

In the central part, such an exception is a rock formation with a valley where mouflons gather.

Some localities are waterlogged with watercourses, which wild boars and other hoofed animals like to seek out on hot days.

Throughout the hunt, there is a system of pulpits and benches, which are often located near the feeding machines.

The altitude varies from 450 to 480 m.a.s.l. and the chase shows no extreme elevation.

The forest is made up mainly of spruce, which is sometimes complemented by deciduous trees.

In a number of places there is spruce undergrowth, which also forms thickets in larger units. In the Northern part of the hunting area, the forest is mature and very sparse, which can be used for shuffling during the hunt.
