About the chase

Area: 1122
Area: Highlands
Species: Forest

Stará Huť Hunting area is 90% made up of a forest that surrounds the small village of Benešov. At the same time, it shares almost half of the forest with the Eustach hunting area. Together, the forest complex forms a perfect circle of forest with a size of more than 2,000 hectares.

In the middle of the circle, there is a village of Benešov, around which there are small fields and meadows. The game, coming regilarly to these fields, can thus be successfully hunted outside the forest.

There are three ponds in the hunting area, which are waterlogged from all sides at the same time and form water sources especially on hot summer days for game. Waterlogged meadows are then sought out by wild boars, which constantly dig them along the forest.

Hunting area has a good sustenance due to the presence of numerous fruit trees and fields in one part and in the other part due to beech trees in the forest complex.

It is fully equipped for hunting, even for long hunts in winter.
