The hunting area Stará Huť is located near Kamenice nad Lipou in the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands in the Czech Republic. This is forest hunting with a small representation of fields.
Stará Huť is a relatively large forest hunting area of 1,122 hectares, of which approximately 120 hectares are adjacent fields with meadows. In hunting, hunts are organized for wild boar, which have suitable conditions for year-round life here.
The forests are mature and, in most cases, undergrowth due to natural rejuvenation. High forests alternate with beech or spruce glades.
The forests are mainly spruce with the occurrence of pines and beeches.
The main hunted game is wild boar, fallow deer and roe deer. Fallow deer are hunted here with a strength of around 140 to 150 CIC points.
If you are very lucky, you can see sika deer.
