With its unique size of 3,508 hectares, the Přízeř hunting area is one of the largest hunting grounds in the Czech Republic. It is located near a small town of Rožmberk nad Vltavou, which forms the gateway to the Šumava mountains.
The hunting ground Přízeř is a miscellaneous area in which foothills and meadows alternate. The entire location is managed ecologically. A large part of the meadows is used as pasture for the cattle. Only a small part of the ground is a field with crops. The remaining meadows are regularly cut for hay.
In the hunting area of Přízeř, there are also forest complexes that naturally connect to other forest complexes across the Vltava river valley.
In this area, you can hunt roe deer, fallow deer, wild boar, red deer and, above all, mouflon. Mouflons achieve very interesting trophies here.
If interested, you can also hunt in the local game preserves Rožmberk nad Vltavou (mouflon, red deer) and Alšova game preserve (deer). Both game preserves are naturally embedded in the surrounding landscape and fall under the same hunting administrator as the Přízeř hunting.
