This driven hunt consists of two locations: Two days of hunting take place in the heart of the Bohemian Paradise at Hruboskalsko and one day at Kokořín. Both location are near Prague in the Northem Bohemian.
Both hunting grounds are half an hour’s drive apart.
In both cases, it is a beautiful rugged nature with plenty of ravines and valleys.
The driven hunt is carried out in the spirit of Czech hunting traditions and customs, featuring a horn player, the knighting of hunters, and more.
Each day, 2 stands are prepared for 25 to 30 shooters.
Indicative program of the driven hunt:
The terrain is relatively difficult, so individual hunters who have mobility challenges are placed on accessible paths. The rest of the hunters may be positioned in ravines, which require walking more than 200 meters uphill and similar. For this reason, drawing lots for stands is not feasible.
Accommodation is usually provided at Hotel Králíček or Hotel Bohemia Inn. Hotel Králíček is located right next to the meeting point, while Hotel Bohemia Inn is located directly in Turnov, just a 5-minute drive to the hunting ground. In both cases, accommodation includes breakfast.
During the driven hunt, emphasis is placed on safety, and therefore it is necessary to always have reflective elements (ideally a reflective vest or jacket) and to respect the instructions of the organizers.
On the 1st and 2nd day in the Bohemian Paradise, the following is hunted:
